I always consider it a special privilege when one of the many couples getting married each year entrusts me with the role of capturing their memories. Photography is not only my profession, but also my passion. It is a true honor to document life’s most joyful occasions—whether weddings, the arrival of a new family member, or meaningful anniversaries. These photographs, especially those from weddings and engagements, often become cherished records of a couple’s most significant life moments.
With over 15 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I have had the honor of working with more than 3,000 couples and families, photographing over 150 sessions annually. I am deeply grateful to have earned the trust of so many clients throughout my career.
In Japan, there is a beautiful concept called Ichigo Ichie, which roughly translates to “one time, one meeting.” It expresses the idea that each encounter is unique and will never happen in the exact same way again. I hold this philosophy close to my heart and approach every couple and every session with this mindset—giving my full presence, care, and dedication as if it were the most important moment of our lives.

Tomoko (Okayama)
Tomoko is a photographer based in the beautiful town of Kurashiki, Okayama. With over 13 years of experience and a gentle, thoughtful approach, she brings a graceful and artistic touch to every session. Her calm presence and attention to detail help create a warm and relaxed atmosphere, allowing her clients to feel truly at ease in front of the camera.
Her photography style is both artistic and dramatic, with a focus on capturing genuine emotions and timeless moments. She is also an award-winning member of the ISPWP (International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers), recognized for her creative and heartfelt work.
While based in western Japan, Tomoko frequently photographs in a wide range of locations including Okayama, Hiroshima, Naoshima, Shikoku, Osaka, Kyoto, and even the Fuji Five Lakes area. Whether it’s a quiet stroll through historic streets or a romantic session surrounded by nature, she captures each scene with care and elegance.
